Hello friends. It has been half a year since I last wrote something for this Substack. If any of my readership feel neglected, I offer my apologies, and to those of my readership who remain loyal subscribers in spite of the dearth of publications, I offer my gratitude. My last article was, it is no vainglory to say, my capolavoro, my tour de force. Now that it’s done, there is little left for me to say, and, as I’ve already explained on various occasions, I am not someone who feels compelled to write the same article over and over again in response to the same events which occur over and over again.

In fact, I am more convinced than ever that Substack, X, Instagram, Tik Tok, and webzines have become nothing but another supply of bread and circuses. Many are the pompous ‘right wing’ ‘intellectuals’ who look down on the ‘normies’ who waste their time and energy watching ‘sportsball’ or Hollywood slop, yet there is a strong case to be made that those very intellectuals waste their own time and energy by reacting to news items, posting ‘hot take’ wankery (which often contradicts the hot take wankery they posted a month prior), talking for hours into microphones on their livestreams and podcasts on the fringes of the Internet, and repeating the same arguments and talking points simply because they must put out CONTENT. It’s all become a distraction, at best, and an exploitation of our predicament and our suffering at worst.

I have participated in the production of this circus myself, although I’ve always tried to make sure that what I produced had some value or purpose. I’ve also tried to maintain a balance between realism and that thing that Oswald Spengler associated with cowardice: optimism. I often used the metaphor of a general in the trenches on the eve of a battle against a much superior enemy. He is well-aware that he and his men have little chance, but he has a duty to keep morale up, or at the very least, not demoralise his soldiers.

But the scales are ever more weighed down on the side of realism. Friends, I’ve been Pox Populi since 2018. There are others who have been tirelessly working for this cause of ours since 2008, 1998, 1988, and so on. Have things improved or worsened? Be honest. I’ve heard several people say that things have improved, because a Tik Tok video on Israeli evildoings got ten thousand likes, or because a poll showed 70% of Europeans across the continent are fed up with immigration. I, too, have cited such things as the Irish resistance to mass immigration or the electoral trends in Italy as reasons to be optimistic, but there have been times in which grasping for something to feel good about ultimately left me feeling a bit like a salesman hawking a product he knows is mediocre. Because while the Tik Tok videos about Israel’s crimes are getting ten thousand likes, our towns are getting ten thousand new migrants from the third world. While the White House’s X account is posting ‘based memes’, our children, grandmothers, and even our pets are still being victimised by violent invaders who have no right to be anywhere near our homelands. While the media and political establishment constantly warn that the ‘far right’ is ‘on the rise’, in reality liberal-progressive politics, so-called ‘anti-racism’ ideology (which is simply anti-white ideology), white erasure, and immigration zealotry, have never been more unassailably strong.

Polling data showing overwhelming opposition to those migrants’ arrival, exhaustive analysis demonstrating that this ‘endless stream’ of immigration (as Joe Biden put it) has been utterly disastrous, example after example of migrant-caused crime and degradation, and an endless supply of essays, livestreams, and social media posts, have done nothing to stop it…

…for decades now.

Not only has there been an absolute failure to stop the invasion, the invasion has been intensified and legitimised. As if it were not enough to have thrown open the gates of Europe to hordes of ‘refugees’ from the Middle East and Africa over the last ten to fifteen years, now the European Commission is striking deals to import who knows how many Indians. Spain, a country seemingly trapped forever in the clutches of leftist PSOE zealots, recently moved to give legal residency to half a million migrants who entered Spain illegally, meanwhile the ‘conservative’ president of Madrid region repeatedly boasts about how she has transformed Madrid city into a diverse melting pot where native Spaniards are now the minority in several neighbourhoods.
